A Story About Me and KPOP..

2008..

I was just entering the 1st year of high school so I had only a few friends, including my friends from the same previous school. So I met a girl and we became friends instantly. Everytime I’m with her, she will always talk about BIGBANG. Yes, you read it right, BIGBANG. She always say stuffs about how good-looking all of them are, how TOP oppa’s voice sound so awesome and all but I just nod my head and didn’t even care. *WHY DIDN’T I CARE AT THAT TIME T^T* Let’s just say that this is the year that I 1st know about KPOP.

2009..

The next year, I forgot all about KPOP and BIGBANG. I continue on my life as usual until the school’s mid-year holidays. At that time, I was chosen to go to a camp (more-like-sleeping-in-a-5-star-hotel kind-of-camp xD) for a few days. Of course there were other students, my juniors, my classmate and a schoolmate whom I only recognize her as a girlfriend to one of my classmate. We get to know each other and all and contacted each other after the camp. A junior of mine, who is a boy, is the one that I keep in touch the most. So one day, while we were chatting online, I asked him what was he doing. He replied that he was watching a music video. I asked what kind of music video. He replied that it was a Korean music video, Sorry Sorry by Super Junior. I was curious, despite that I forgotten all about KPOP, asked him to give the link on YouTube. I watched the music video for a while and I liked the music. Then, when I saw Ryeowook, I instantly liked him. So, this is the year that I started love KPOP as an ELF. And by the way, while I was searching for SuJu’s songs, I encountered Haru Haru. I also loved the song and I was kinda like BIGBANG too but not as much as I liked SuJu at this time. And I saw the birth of B2ST aired on the tv.

2010..

Another year as a KPOPPER and an ELF but not officially a VIP yet. But my love for SuJu wasn’t so strong. I was the only one who knew about KPOP in my class so I couldn’t express my love for them to anyone. I was just fading and fading, as I was preparing for my 2nd major exam. Then, two of my friends that knew my passion for KPOP, showed me again the MV for Haru Haru so thanks to them, I was interested to know more about BIGBANG. So I search for they videos, listen to their songs and finally, when I was watching Lollipop 2 MV, I was stunned by them. Their voice, their look, their passion for singing. After I watched Lollipop 2 for a few times, I fell in love with TOP oppa by his deep voice. *THANK GOD I LOVED THEM AT THIS MOMENT* And that’s the start of my life as an official VIP.

2011..

Well, here I am now, still a loyal VIP thanks to tumblr and the awesome people in it. I’ve been buying their albums (unfortunately some of it are repackaged and pirated ones but yeah, at least I have one that is pure original xD), talk about them with my besties, my fellow VIPs and loved them more and more everyday. I’ve been thinking though.. When I first knew about BIGBANG 3 years ago, was that a destiny for me to finally become a VIP although I didn’t care about them for the past few years? Who knows, maybe it is or it’s just a coincidence..

2012..

Another year has passed and another has come. I couldn’t believe myself that I’m so into BIGBANG that I forgot the people who made me this far. I would like to thank the people properly. I’m still in love with FLOW and a bit of an ELF and I will always support them, just how I support BIGBANG! :D I would like to thank FLOW, a Japanese band who made me in love with music, Super Junior for making me in love with KPOP and friends who made me stayed in the KPOP world, whether you are a VIP, ELF, B2TY or a fan from any KPOP groups. Without you guys, I wouldn’t be here. Saranghaeyo!! ♥♥
